Quality & Materials

Checked against your approved sample

Checkpoints are agreed per order. Leather type, finish and any testing requirements are specified at the start of each project and confirmed with the supplier.

How we control quality

Quality at DURVESS is measured against one reference: the sample you approved. Before bulk production starts, we agree the leather, colour, dimensions, stitching, hardware, branding and packing with you, and those details become the checklist for your order.

Leather is a natural material, so small variations in grain and shade between hides are normal. We agree acceptable variation with you on the approved sample, so there are no surprises when goods arrive.

Eight checkpoints on every order

01
Dimensions
Measured against the agreed size chart.
02
Stitching
Stitch density, straightness and thread finish.
03
Edge finishing
Painted or burnished edges, consistent and clean.
04
Hardware
Buckles, rings and clips fitted and functioning.
05
Colour consistency
Compared to the approved sample across the lot.
06
Logo placement
Position, depth and legibility of branding.
07
Packaging
Labels, barcodes and cartons as specified.
08
Pre-shipment check
Final review before goods are released.
